My project for the Art in Odd Places Festival October 1-10th, 2011 in New York on 14th St.
I am experimenting with the anatomy of smell, and the invisible character of its use in art. Through this performance, I am influencing the molecular chemistry of my environment, the minds of passers by, and creating memory. Each scent will be titled by a prayer or poem derived from the day's events, as they are interrelated to perfume in historic literature.
